David's tour is thoughtfully designed, not just with the mix of food choices but also the pace - it moved from standing to sitting, and ended with a light walk to a spot with a restroom meeting my needs before I realized I had them. David is a great storyteller, weaving urban history, culinary insight, and personal history seamlessly; his love of his hometown of Portland is a salt bringing extra flavour out of every dish. I was the only person on my tour and was afraid it'd be awkward. It was not. The whole experience made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Had the most amazing time on the food tour through Portland. David was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and provided an incredibly delicious assortment of food along the way. From food carts to beers on an old London bus, the tour left me surprised, satisfied and grateful for the city I call my home.

Not only did he select some amazing places to get some food and drinks, he also delivered a compelling narrative that interweaves the general history of Portland to it's food cart scene in an interesting and entertaining manner. Aside from that, he is also very much a chill dude to hang out with for an afternoon who shows through his contact with local business owners what a great city Portland is and how tightly nit the food cart community is. Would definitely recommend anyone going on a food tour to pick David.
